Location: Central London (Head Office)
Salary: £26,000–£32,000 depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, fixed term contract until the end of 2025 with potential to extend.
About the Role
Are you a sharp communicator with a passion for public policy, digital engagement and impactful storytelling?
We’re looking for a Policy, Communications & Marketing Officer to join Chamber Group – a dynamic media, research and events organisation at the heart of UK and international policy debate. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll support content creation, run digital campaigns, contribute to research, and help deliver high-profile events and publications.
You’ll be central to how we communicate our work to key audiences, from ministers and policymakers to public sector leaders and citizens.

What You’ll Do
You’ll work across three core areas: Policy, Communications and Marketing, with opportunities to specialise and grow. Responsibilities include:
Account Management
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries and maintaining strong relationships
- Support account planning, reporting, and review processes to track progress and outcomes
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client deliverables are met on time and to standard
- Assist with contract administration, renewals, and accurate maintenance of client records
Policy & Research
- Drafting concise, engaging policy reports, briefings, and articles
- Conducting background research and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of key policy areas
- Writing accessible summaries of roundtables, webinars and summits
- Supporting deeper analysis where required
Marketing, Communications, & Business Development
- Writing and scheduling newsletters, marketing emails and social content
- Keeping the website up to date with fresh content and articles
- Creating digital graphics, flyers and assets using tools like Canva
- Managing event listings, mailouts and registration systems
- Supporting pipeline generation and campaign delivery
Events & Media
- Co-ordinating logistics for policy events, webinars and video interviews
- Preparing agendas, slide decks and promotional materials
- Helping publish and promote event outputs including video, articles and reports
- Supporting media production and uploading digital content
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A strong and speedy writer with a sharp eye for detail
- Comfortable using a range of digital tools (e.g. CRMs, email platforms, Wordpress, Canva, social media)
- Organised, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple projects
- Genuinely interested in public policy, government and institutional reform
- Collaborative, curious and thrives in a small, fast-moving team
You may have experience in policy, communications, campaigns, journalism, or events – or a mix of them. The role is well suited to someone looking to build on early career experience or pivot into the policy/public affairs space from another sector.
