Join UK Healthcare and Life Sciences Innovation’s (UKHLSI) Obesity Summit on improving outcomes, boosting productivity and system impact.
Organised by UKHLSI, in partnership with policy institute Curia, this parliamentary summit – From Access to Outcomes: Building the Evidence and Delivery Model for Obesity Treatment in the UK – will convene leaders from across health, policy and industry to explore how the UK can move from policy ambition to effective delivery in obesity care.
The discussion will focus on embedding innovations such as GLP-1 medicines within integrated, trauma-informed pathways that prioritise long-term outcomes, equity and system sustainability. It will explore long-term obesity outcomes, lived experience, integrated treatment models and ICS delivery, alongside the economic case for government and the role of data in shaping future commissioning.
The summit aims to build shared understanding, strengthen cross-sector collaboration and support practical next steps, including a national outcomes framework, improved data linkage and pilot systems for delivery at scale.
