Members and guests are invited to join senior leaders from healthcare, life sciences, technology, regulation and policy for a hybrid meeting with webinar facilities to discuss the UKAI and Curia responses to the The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) AI in Healthcare Commission consultation examining the UK’s approach to regulating artificial intelligence in healthcare, in response to the MHRA Call for Evidence.
The session will be chaired by Rt Hon Andrew Stephenson CBE and UKAI Life Sciences Working Group chair, Natasa Mihajlovic. The event will be followed by an informal reception.

The session will bring together clinicians, developers, regulatory experts and patient representatives to align on key issues, share evidence and agree positions in advance of the consultation deadline. Input will be gathered ahead of the event and consolidated to enable a focused, outcome led discussion during the webinar.Key themes include the adequacy of the current UK regulatory framework, access to safe and effective AI medical devices, post deployment safety monitoring, and responsibility and liability across the system.After the webinar, in-person attendees will be welcome to join an informal drinks reception, providing space for further discussion and networking.
