Join UKHLSI in Manchester for a summit on women’s healthcare, FemTech innovation and future investment in NHS delivery.

Organised by UKHLSI, in partnership with policy institute Curia, this Manchester summit – Women’s Healthcare and FemTech: Building the Investment, Evidence and Delivery Model for Women’s Health – will convene senior leaders from across the women’s health ecosystem to explore how the UK can move from policy ambition to effective delivery.

The discussion will focus on accelerating innovation adoption in women’s healthcare, improving outcomes and building the case for long-term, system-wide investment. It will explore the role of FemTech, NIHR-backed innovation, Women’s Health Hubs, digital-first models and regional leadership, alongside the economic case for government and the importance of connecting investment with real-world NHS delivery.

The summit will also consider how women’s health can be positioned as a core economic priority, supporting productivity, workforce retention and long-term NHS sustainability. The recent £1.5 million investment into FemTech as part of the renewed Women’s Health Strategy was a welcome step, but the summit will explore how government, the NHS, investors and industry can go further.

The summit aims to build shared understanding, strengthen collaboration and support practical next steps, including clearer commissioning and adoption pathways, stronger links between innovation and NHS delivery, and a coordinated investment case for women’s health at national scale.
