Ben Howlett
Chief Executive
A former MP and Councillor, Ben has 15 years of experience in public sector policy delivery across multiple sectors. A former Member of the Women and Equalities Select Committee, Ben has worked with Governments around the world to formulate diversity and inclusion policies.
He has held several non-exec roles including a multinational rail infrastructure company and sits on the British Standards Institute Health Management Committee.
Miles Bennington
Finance Director
Miles’ career has taken him from politics to some of the UK’s largest charities, founding a political research agency, a charity fundraising company and now to Chamber and Curia; where the worlds of charity, politics and business meet.
He believes engagement across communities, sectors and interest groups during the policy making process will lead to more lasting change than central direction alone and is passionate about organising forums and events where policy makers can hear alternative perspectives.
Gabby Rapp
Editor, Policy Researcher and Marketing Executive
Recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Scottish Masters in Philosophy and Politics, Gabby contributes as editor for our online daily articles and our print journal. Additionally, she conducts policy research and assists with marketing.
Outside of UK Politics, she has a keen interest in Middle Eastern politics, particularly focusing on gender development studies and global sustainability initiatives, having worked on sustainable development projects in Kenya.
Ulysse Abbate
Research Assistant
Recently graduated from LSE with a Masters in the Political Economy of Europe, Ulysse supports the office across portfolios, from policy research to secretarial work.
He is active in the Liberal Democrats, in particular policy-making, where he sits on the party’s Federal Policy Committee, through his role as the Policy Officer for the Young Liberals (the youth and student wing of the Liberal Democrats).
